Political hustle & bustle gains vigour

Political hustle and bustle was witnessed at the political offices and outhouses of the local elected representatives who spent a busy day to reconsider the applications and conducted their interviews to finalise the candidates for the local bodies elections.
The polls are scheduled to be held on December 3, 2015. A great rush of the aspiring candidates, their voters and supporters was witnessed there, making high claims to be the true workers of the masses. They reached the political offices and Deras of the local MNAs and MPAs very early in Sunday morning and remained present there for the whole day.
The PML-N, PTI, Jamaat-e-Islami, PML-Q and PPP have got a big number of applications for the party tickets by the aspirants due to which their local leaders remained undecided to finalise the lists of their candidates. The small and big groups of the political workers continued to reach there, amidst drum beats.
However, the aspirant candidates of all the main political parties have displayed their giant banners, colourful hoarding boards, posters and flaxes on all the main roads, streets, important Chowks, walls and public places in all the urban and rural parts of Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur.
The expected candidates had already started their election campaign while going door-to-door besides holding the corner meetings there to lure their voters and supporters ahead of the LB polls, scheduled to be held in Sialkot district on December 3, 2015.
ARRESTS: Police have arrested 18 Afghan nationals for illegally residing in Shakargarh city and surrounding areas. According to police officials, the Afghan nationals could not provide any legal proof for their stay in Pakistan. Police have registered separate cases and sent the accused behind bars.
