Turkey has expressed full support to Pakistan in its efforts towards amicable solution of Kashmir dispute. 

In a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif`s Special Envoys on Jammu and Kashmir, Pervez Malik and Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha, in Ankara, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildrim expressed deep concern over the sufferings of innocent Kashmiri people. 

The envoys briefed the Turkish prime minister of the on-going gross human rights violations perpetrated by Indian forces in held Kashmir.

The special envoys underscored the importance of moral and diplomatic responsibility of international community and the UN Security Council to urge India to immediately halt the use of force against unarmed civilians.

They emphasised that peace in the region and normalisation of ties between Pakistan and India could not be achieved without the just resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The Turkish prime minister underlined that Turkey had called for restraint and use of peaceful means to resolve the issue. He stressed that dialogue between India and Pakistan would help lead the situation towards a peaceful path.
