LAHORE – The Pepsi CPL Twenty20 Championship 2018 was inaugurated in a colourful ceremony held here at a local hotel. The highlights of the opening ceremony were unveiling of event’s trophy and kits of participating teams. CPS Club chairman Ahsan Zaki, Unifoam Industry Director Bilal Sheikh and Moon Public Schools vice chairman M Faisal Riaz graced the occasion as chief guests and inaugurated the event as well as unveiled the trophy and kits. The draws ceremony of the event was also held and 16 participating teams were divided into four groups. Speaking on the occasion, CPS chairman Ahsan Zaki said: “This is the regular event of their calendar and the purpose behind hosting it is to provide healthy activities to the employees of corporate sector. Hopefully, every team has to work really hard to make it to the finals and win the prestigious trophy.”–Staff Reporter
