Wapda win men, women titles in national karate

LAHORE - Defending champions Pakistan Wapda yet again proved their supremacy in karate as they succeeded in winning both 28th Men’s and 14th Women’s National Karate Championships held in Quetta. 

The players of Wapda displayed outstanding karate skills and techniques and dominated over their opponents to defend their titles in men and women events. Wapda men grabbed the first position by securing eight gold medals, one silver and one bronze medal while their female players also proved that they aren’t behind their men players as they also earned top spot in the women’s event by clinching six gold medals and two silver medals. Not only in karate, Wapda players dominating most of the games being played in the country and not only this, their players also winning laurels for the country at international level. The Wapda Sports Board (WSB) under the dynamic leadership of its chairman and entire team has been preparing, training and facilitating their players professionally, who in return, utilize all their energies in winning honours for their department as well for the country.
