In the ongoing operation Rah-e-Rast against militants in Swat and Malakand eight militants were killed including three Afghan nationals in last 24 hours. According to an ISPR up date, 18 militants were arrested while 12 laid down arms. In a clash at Banjot a security man was martyred and another injured. Four militants were killed and nine were arrested in the incident, a military spokesman said. In Khwazakhella two militants were arrested while seven detained in Koza Banday and Qanbar. Moreover, in Uzbek Banday two militants surrendered before the troops, while in Kabal 10 militants laid down arms.
