Barrister Zafarullah in his petition contended that the US embassy in Islamabad being allotted around 56 acres of land in the capital and claimed that the decision will pose threat to the security and sovereignty of Pakistan, moreover, it will pave the way for possession of the nuclear arsenal of the country. The petition said that the extension of the US embassy is a veiled bid to destabilize Pakistan and US buying of agriculture land in various cities will also be used in conspiracies against Pakistan.
