Anti-littering drive

LAHORE - The Lahore Waste Management Company launched a campaign at Nolakha Chowk to sensitise masses on anti-littering and developing habits of proper disposal of waste.
The drive was especially joined by a Sikh citizen named Attar Singh along with some hundreds students from several educational institutions including Punjab University, Lahore College University for Women, Government Girls College China Scheme.
An awareness walk lead by Senior Manager Operations Suhail Anwar, Manager Communication Jamil Khawar and Deputy Manager Communication Naeema Saeed was carried out from Haji Camp to Railway Station. Deputy Manager Shafqat Rasool, Assistant Managers Asad Ahmed, Muhammad Umair Khan, Rehman Rashid, Fariha Sarwar and Saadia Rafique also attended the drive.
Participants of the campaign briefed public and distributed pamphlets among residents of adjacent localities and markets. Special arrangements of cleanliness by Albayrak were also ensured in the area. 
Attar Singh expressed gratitude for providing him opportunity to participate in the campaign as volunteer and appreciated the LWMC efforts for clean environment in the metropolitan.
