Playing with wild animals is something she has been doing ever since she was a young girl. And Bindi Irwin was happy to once again pull out her favourite party trick ahead of the imminent season premiere of the new series of Dancing With The Stars on Thursday night.

The 17-year-old looked every inch the snake charming pro as she handled an albino python in Hollywood, California.

Bindi certainly looked ready to shimmy away on the dance floor in her bright pink dance outfit, but it was the snake wrapped around her neck and waist that was her dance partner for the night.

The brunette teen couldn’t help but giggle as she posed for pictures with the large snake before she went on to mess about for the cameras with dancing pros Mark Ballas, Vak Chmerkovskiy and Louis Amstel.

Bindi, who is the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, has been partnered with 30-year-old Derek for the upcoming 21st season of Dancing With The Stars that will premiere on Monday.

The dancer has previously credited the young wildlife enthusiast for reinvigorating his enthusiasm for the show.

‘I love her. She’s amazing,’ the 31-year-old told People magazine. ‘She’s a breath of fresh air. We all need a little Bindi in our life. Seriously.’

‘I’m in this space right now where I’m super pumped on life right now. I feel connected. I feel great. And then she walks in my life. You don’t understand what positive energy she is.’
