FPCCI, PTBA sign MoU to enhance cooperation

LAHORE - A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Pak Turk Businessmen Association (PTBA).
The agreement will see both organizations working closely for the economic growth of both countries through facilitation to each other’s members. Both organizations would also take joint measures to synergize efforts to accomplish share goals and to boost efficiency.
The team of Turkish headed by Mehmood Kirdos Director of Public Relations of Pak Turkish Businessmen Association, met with FPCCI Regional Chairman Kh Zarar Kaleem, proposed backup solutions and Solar PV Systems to run small and Medium Enterprises and Industries in Pakistan.
Mehmood Kirdos said Turkey and Pakistan are enjoying pleasant bilateral relationship. These cordial relations have benefited both countries especially in social, economic, education, cultural and technical sectors.
Trade between Turkey and Pakistan has been growing progressively over the years and now Pakistan is one of the major trade partners of Turkey, he added.
Regional Chairman/Vice President FPCCI Zarar Kaleem stated the business communities of Pakistan and Turkey have always shown deep interest and played vital role for the improvement of bilateral relationships and therefore, the growth in trade from both sides is encouraging.
FPCCI Vice President said the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry is playing a key role to attract the business community of Pakistan towards Turkey.
Both the countries have the spirit of friendship and cooperation and therefore, they have similar views on most international issues and have been supporting each other at various international forums.
