LAHORE - Pakistan Awami Tehreek chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has alleged the Punjab police are facilitating hardcore terrorists escape before the start of Rangers’ operation in the province.
In a statement issued from PAT head office in Model Town yesterday, Dr Qadri claimed that police facilitated disappearance of over 90 terrorists from Faisalabad in the name of search operation.
Qadri questioned why the Punjab chief minister was not getting time to approve the summery regarding deployment of Rangers lying at his (Punjab CM) table. He further alleged that Shehbaz Sharif had enough time to allow burning of records of Nandipur power project and Ramzan sugar mills but had not time to approve summery for Rangers operation.
The PAT chief said the goal of development could not be achieved without elimination of terrorism in the country.
