Rawalpindi - Rawalpindi Arts Council held a photographic exhibition yesterday wherein pictures and historical documents pertaining to Quaid-e-Azam were put on display to highlight different aspects of the life of Muhammad Ali Jinnah who united the Muslims of the subcontinent for acquiring a separate homeland.

More than 100 rare pictures of great leader were exhibited in connection with Quaid’s 68th death anniversary. Additional Registrar Fatima Jinnah Women University Prof Humayoun Iqbal flanked by Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed inaugurated the exhibition which was also attended by a large number of people from different walk of life.

Addressing after inaugural ceremony, he said work, work and work was the message of great leader and he succeeded in achieving a separate homeland, Pakistan, for the Muslims of subcontinent by adhering to this philosophy. “He laid the principles of unity, organization and faith for the nation to make headway on the path to progress and development,” Prof Humayoun Iqbal added.
