He said Nawaz Sharif, Maryam and Safdar had also telephoned Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz in UK from the jail PCO and expressed their sorrow over death of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.

He said DC Islamabad would order release of the detained Sharifs on parole for attending the funeral prayer of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz that would be offered in Jati Umrah, Lahore. He said Sharifs would be transported or airlifted to Lahore under tight police protection.

Following the orders of City Police Officer (CPO) Abbas Ahsan, Rawalpindi police have beefed up security of routes leading to Adiala Jail to avoid any untoward incident.
