CSB meeting summoned in last week of Sept

ISLAMABAD   -  The federal government has summoned the meeting of Central Selection Board (CSB) in the last week of September to review promotion cases of Grade-19 and Grade-20 officers of different services groups.

According to a notification, “a meeting of the Central Selection Board (CSB) to consider promotion cases of officers from BS-19 to BS-20 and from BS-20 to BS-21 of all Services/Groups and Ex-cadre posts will be held from 28th to 30th September, 2021 in Library Hall of the Establishment Division, Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Capt (Retd) Zahid Saeed, Chairman Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC)/CSB.”

Federal Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Senator Saifullah Niazi, Secretary Establishment Division, Chief Secretaries, Inspector Generals of all provinces, Secretary Interior, Senior bureaucrats including Mehar Khaliq Dad Lak, Allah Dino Khawaja, Sanaullah Abbasi, Rizwan Ahmad, Muhammad Ali Shahzada, Imran Zeb Khan will be member of CSB.

According to sources, the Establishment Division has finalised panels of officers of Grade-19 and Grade-20 of different services groups and sent to Secretary Office. 

They said the CSB would review promotion cases of over 400 officers of different services groups. They said that the government is arranging CSB meeting as per rule after every six months. They said that CSB meeting should be held after every six months.
