LAHORE - Assembly members belonging to various districts called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Monday and apprised him of the pace of ongoing development schemes in their respective areas. Talking to the assembly members, the chief minister said that Punjab government was implementing a comprehensive programme for provision of basic facilities to the masses and raising their living standard. He said that development projects worth billions of rupees were being executed in the province expeditiously. He said that assembly members should utilize all their energies for ensuring public participation in the process of development and solution of peoples problems.
