Killings question mark on restoration of democracy: Saifullah

ISLAMABAD President PML-Q (Likeminded) Senator Saleem Saifullah Khan on Monday said that killing of innocent people in Hazara during a peaceful protest is a question mark on the tall claims of the incumbent Government regarding restoration of democracy in the country. He said that the peaceful protests were being held in Hazara but the administration mishandled and opened fire on poor civilians killing 9 people and injuring several others. He said that he had called a party meeting to discuss the situation of Hazara. He further informed that the Government had ensured the senators in the Senate that the judicial enquiry would be carried out regarding killing of the innocent people. He added that his party had also moved amendments in the Senate against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in favour of internal elections in political parties.
