LAHORE - The Lahore High Court (LHC) will take prompt action on the complaints of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) and difficulties of the bar never be ignored. These views were expressed by LHC Registrar Abdul Sattar Asghar here on Monday while talking to LHCBA President Mian Abdul Qadus who along with Babar Murtaza, Secretary, Mr Shah Abbas Vice President and Rana Sajid Finance Secretary to discuss their problems. The registrar said smooth and harmonious relationship between the Bench and the Bar was essential. The matter which came up in discussion included issuance of cause lists, security concerns, facility of water connection from the filtration plant to the Bar and the working of Urgent Cell of the Lahore High Court. Discussions were held in a friendly, pleasant and congenial atmosphere. Implementation of National Judicial Policy also came under consideration and the Registrar appreciated the co-operation by the members of the Bar in this respect. He informed regular cause lists would be complete for its circulation on every Thursday in the afternoon. The Registrar also told a meeting of the office- bearers of Lahore High Court Bar Association with the CCPO Lahore was also arranged in the High Court at 2:00 pm tomorrow (Wednesday) for discussions on security concerns. The Registrar told this court would always be prepared to pay prompt attention to the difficulties faced by the Bar.
