LAHORE - A director of a private company was shot dead in his office in Model Town area, police said on Monday. The deceased was identified as Sheikh Adrees, 48, resident of Civil Line, Gujranwala. Police investigators said that on the day of incident Malik Adrees was present at his office in 99-F Model Town, when some unidentified persons came to his office and sprayed bullets on him and escaped from the scene. As a result he received multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot. Police said that none of office staff member saw the assailants. The victims office boy saw his body in the pool of blood and informed the police. SUICIDE A security guard allegedly committed suicide by cutting his neck with a saw in a house in Model Town on Monday. SHO Model Town Police Station Malik Zafar Iqbal told that according to the locals of the area, deceased Altaf committed suicide by putting his neck into the saw and died at the spot. He said although his family members were not satisfying with the investigation and were claiming that someone had killed him. He said the incident took place in a house 91-G where woodwork was going on. He said the deceased had been working at that house as a security guard since years. He was resident of Chichawatni.
