ISLAMABAD Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid), though could not block the passage of the 18th Amendment Bill in the Upper House of the Parliament, yet their legal wizards are considering the option to challenge it in the Supreme Court after its passage from the Senate. Sources privy to the development informed TheNation that PML-Q was is fully exploiting the situation as it has caught the PML-N, the major political force enjoying an overwhelming vote-bank in the area, on the wrong foot and is attempting to politically boot them out from the area. The sources said that PML-Q is simply doing politics on the issue just to cause damage to the popular public support of PML-N and to emerge as the saviour of its rights. The sources further said that as PML-N had already entered into an agreement with ANP over the renaming of NWFP as Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the name altogether rejected by the people of Hazara belt. And now they are caught between the devil and the deep sea like situation and PML-Q has not made any mistake in exploiting this awkward position of N-League. Though PML-N has also tried to enter in a damage-control spree by saying that they would come up with a proposal for rethinking on the renaming of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in the face of the outburst of Hazara people against it but for the time being the people of Hazara are not ready to listen to them. The sources in PML-Q informed that they would not let this golden opportunity go waste and would fully exploit it to their benefit as after PML-N they are having the largest vote-bank in Hazara belt.
