The sources said the party members as per its planning will put copy of agreement between PML(LM) and PML(N) in which latter had signed for seat adjustment for next general elections-2013 . The criteria decided in the agreement between the two parties (PML-N and PML(LM)  says,  “Based on the criteria laid down in items 2 and 3, thirty (11 per cent) out of 272 genaral seats shall be adjusted between PML(N) and PML(LM). The same percentage shall apply for allocation of provincial general seats’.
The memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for seats adjustment between two parties signed on May12, 2012 by Hamayun Akhtar (from PML-LM) and Iqbal Zafar Jhagra (Secretary General PML-N). When contacted, newly formed PML(J) Chief Iqbal Dar said they are all set to submit petition in the Election Commission before 17 April, attaching signed agreement of the PML-LM and PML-N on seat adjustment formula of 11 per cent. “We will file petition declaring them not ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Amin’ to contest upcoming elections-2013.  It is relevant to mention here that former PML-LM Arbab Ghulam Rahim (President) around two weeks before met PML-N leadership Nawaz Sharif to sort out seat adjustment formula but only some of the party members could get seats. The party reportedly demanded 11 per cent seat adjustment deal with PML-N which could not be materialized and compelled the party members to revive PML(Junejo) as a new political strength. One of the members of former PML-LM who secured to get seat from the PML-N Salim Saif Ullah had also shared with this newspaper that PML-N had not fulfilled its promise and give only some seats to them.
