LAHORE - The Gulberg Govt College of Home Economics celebrated Anti-Dengue Day Saturday. MPA Kanwal Nauman was chief guest while Lahore DCO Ahmad Javed Qazi, Model Town AC Tariq Manzoor Chandio, Education Director Rana Nasim Akhtar also showed up at the event.
Stressing the need for student’s participation in such campaigns, Principal Prof Dr Samia Kalsoom said with the help of youth, this challenge could be countered. DCO Ahmed Javed Qazi informed the students that government ill starting SMS alerts for public awareness.
He emphasised the need for participation of educational institution in coping with the menace.  Resource Person Dr Ijaz Qureshi delivered an informative lecture while Kanwal Numan counted government’s feats.
