Funeral for seven victims of Turbat massacre was offered in Chak 212/P Sadiqabad while funeral for six others was held in Kot Shah Ismael, Kot Sabzal near Sadiqabad which were attended by hundreds of people from all walks of life. Of the six deceased of Kot Shah Ismael, five belonged to the same family. However, no local politician turned up to participate in the last rituals of deceased.

In Bahawalpur Saraikistan Qaumi Ittehad (SQI) staged a protest at Chowk Fawara against the killing of 20 innocent workers in Turbat, Balochistan and condemned the incident vehemently.

While addressing the protestors, SQI District President Sarfraz Bhatti said that killing of innocent unarmed people was a cowardly act of terrorists and every sane person condemned the massacre. He added that terrorists had no religion, no caste or conscience and those killing innocent people in name of freedom were misguided and mercenaries.

They demanded the government to take strict action against the miscreants and bring to the book to avert recurrence of any such incident in the future.
