rawalpindi - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in a ceremony held on Sunday to promote Pakistan arts and culture abroad (Britain). National Development & Management Council (NDMC) and Mukhtar Welfare Trust (UK) signed the agreement. Both the organizations agreed to extend cooperation to undertake collaborative efforts through organizing joint programmes and recreational activities.

 The stage drama can play an important role in highlighting and resolving social issues of women with correction of society through humor, thoughtful and artistic expressions, said Controller of MWT, renowned actress Nureen Mehmood Khan.

She said that stage drama is a strong medium of education which plays an important role in transforming the societies with reflection and identification of social evils.

NDMC Chief Executive Khalid Zia Saddique said that 10 member artists group would visit Britain next week. Besides, staging play, the artists would hold training classes to explore new talent.
