Rising inflation is a dagger in the heart of the poor, who are already crushed under the heap of injustice done by the state. The cost of ata, beef, chicken and even dal, which was supposed to be food for the poor, is becoming unaffordable. The rich are still enjoying every luxury while this price hike is making life difficult for the poor. It seems that there are two kinds of Pakistan; one for the poor and one for the rich. If things continue like this, we will soon witness a French revolution-like situation in Pakistan.-SUMREEN, Lahore, via e-mail, August 10.
