OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Pakistani Lawyers outclassed defending champions Australian Lawyers by nine wickets in the Lawyers Cricket World Cup. Australia, after electing to bat first, scored 182 for the loss of four wickets in 30 overs. Wasif Zaman, Mian Safdar Ali and Tariq Mehmood took one wicket each for Pakistan Lawyers. In reply, Pakistan Lawyers chased the target for the loss of just one wicket as captain Jamal Sukhaira made unbeaten 77 runs and Khalid Waraich made unbeaten 32. Jamal Sukhura was declared man of the math.
