LOS ANGELES: Holly Hunter has said the wig she wears in Top Of The Lake helped her to connect with her character. The Piano actress worked with the film’s director Jane Campion again on TV series Top Of The Lake where she plays wild-haired life guru GJ and said the look of her character made the role easier to get into.  She said: “Playing GJ was very interesting because of the detachment. Actors always seek connection. Drama is all about the moment of ultimate conflict for a person. GJ doesn’t have that.  “And she is not wrestling with any of those things and she is not missing contact.–BE
