QUETTA  - Two people were killed and another wounded in a bomb blast in Sariab locality of Quetta on Monday night.
Police said unidentified persons had strapped an improvised explosive device, weighing up to five kilogrammes, to a cycle parked near Irrigation Colony. The bomb exploded with a bang, killing two persons on a motorcycle and wounding another. The dead and the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital, where the injured man was identified as Nadeem. Identity of the two victims could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. There was no immediate claim for the responsibility of the attack by any banned outfit. A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
