Have entered decisive phase, won't back out now: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan while addressing the media in Bani Gala before taking part in the Tehreek-e-Ehtisab (Accountability movement) rally, stated that the party’s protest has entered into decisive phase now and that PTI shall not back out at this moment.

Imran Khan said that peaceful protest was the party’s right, adding that the country’s institutions, including National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR), Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), were not able to deliver.

He further stated that the Supreme Court (SC) should have taken notice over the Panama Leaks issue. Imran Khan said that the issue was being prolonged since the past five months as no response was being provided by the government over the allegations but the party was being blackmailed instead.

PTI Chairman stated that the rally shall head to Lahore in the next phase of the protest, further adding that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) provided immense support in the National Assembly (NA). He also said that attempts to bribe the Opposition were also being made.
