15 more Nato trucks blown up

PESHAWAR - Around 15 more trailers, carrying goods to Afghanistan for the NATO forces, have been blown up, a police official disclosed on Friday. According to the police official, the militants fired five rockets in the wee hours of Friday, which hit the trailers parked at the Port World Logistic. The explosion of the rockets was heard all over the town, he said. The militants this time had fired petroleum rockets, which ignited fire instantly and caught other containers too, the police official added. However, fire brigade extinguished the fire after five hours efforts. Another police officer, wishing anonymity said that police was investigating if there were any chemicals inside the containers of the trailers, which caught fire instantly. This was the third consecutive incident in the last few days and fifth of its kind. So far hundreds of trailers carrying huge quantity of goods for the NATO forces, army jeeps and Humvees have been reduced to ashes in the previous attacks.
