Let us not compromise this time

It was morale boosting for the nation to learn about positive retaliatory actions by Pakistan Army and Parliament after blatant attack on our border post, Salala, by Nato forces. Government would have probably not taken these actions unless persuaded by Army Chief and Parliament Defence Committee. Pakistan has lost many of its sons and daughters by supporting USA and its allies in the so-called war on terror launched by USA to achieve her strategic objectives. Recent statements by Prime Minister Gilani regarding embargo on logistic supply through Pakistan indicates intentions to resume this supply after some time. This is unfortunate. Government might be succumbing under indirect pressure by USA through our friendly countries. The nation is with the government and armed forces and it is sincerely hoped that they would not compromise on their present stand and would permanently stop supporting USA/Nato logistically. We should not sell the blood of our shaheeds for monetary benefits. Stoppage of western aid may affect luxuries and living of bureaucracy but not the mediocre and poor public. The government must get other bases vacated i.e Jacobbabad, Dalbadin and an unnamed base near Quetta as reported by some private TV channel. Allah Almighty will not help cowards. We must protect our national interest despite the cost.
