RAWALPINDI - Station Commander, Brig Zaman Nasrullah Khan Niazi, has said that all the problems faced by the business community regarding Cantonment boards will be resolved on priority basis.

He said that issues of old grant, property tax, professional tax and board tax would also be resolved with the consultation of stakeholders and every possible step would also be taken to resolve the matters.

“Facilitation centers are being established in boards to facilitate the masses”, he said while exchanging views with the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Manzar Khurshid Sheikh during his visit to Chamber on Wednesday.  The Chief Executive Officers of Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantonment boards, Group leader Najamul Haq Malik, Senior Vice President Pervaiz Ahmed Warriach, Vice President Nadeem Rauf, former presidents, member Executive Committee and other members of the Chamber were also present on the occasion.

Zaman Khan Niazi said that both the boards were working hard to resolve the all the issues face by the business community and the masses but for better results business community must cooperate with boards.

He said that encroachments and non availability of parking place are the major issues of Cantt areas which are affecting the beauty of the City.

He stressed that anti encroachment drive will be kicked off soon with the help of business community to resolve the said issues.

Speaking on the occasion President RCCI Manzar Khurshid Sheikh said that water shortage has become the permanent issue of the Cantt areas and station commander must play his due role to overcome the most important issue of the said areas.

He said that business community is facing immense problems regarding old grant, property tax and board tax and these issued must be resolved of priority basis.

President RCCI also highlighted the issue of graveyard and demanded the Station Commander to take solid measures in his regard.

He also pointed out the increase number of baggers and parking issues in main cantt business areas which are direct threat to our security. Brig. Zaman Kahn Niazi ensured his full cooperation to the president RCCI.
