Passing out parade of elite course held


KARACHI  - The 15th passing out parade of the elite course was held here on Wednesday at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Elite Police Training Centre Razzakabad here.The IGP, Sindh, Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari, was the chief guest.As many as 1,300 jawans participated while there was a batch of 150 for the fourth batch of the VVIP Protection course.The IGP reviewed the parade. He was also given the guard of honour on the occasion. He also gave away commendation certificates and cash prizes to those who performed well during the course. Leghari said that police’s prime responsibility is to protect the lives and property of the people.He further pointed out that all possible steps are being taken for the welfare of the police personnel and that arrangements are being made for offering scholarship to the children of the police officers and jawans.The IGP said that as part of incentives prizes and awards would be given to those police personnel who would perform their duty well.The Principal of the training centre Razzakabad presented the welcome address. Those passing out presented various training skills on the occasion.
