QUETTA - The Additional and District Sessions Court issued bailable warrants against PPP MNA Syed Nasir Ali Shah and PML-Q Provincial Minister of Information Technology Shama Parveen Magsi in fake degree cases, on Wednesday.The Additional and District Sessions Judge-V was hearing the fake degree cases against Nasir Ali Shah and Shama Parveen Magsi. Both legislators did not turn up during the hearing, upon which the Additional Sessions Judge issued bailable arrest warrants against them.The court had ordered the members of National and Provincial Assemblies for ensuring their presence in the hearing but they did not turn up. The case was adjourned till December 24th.Nasir Ali Shah was elected MNA in 2008 elections from Quetta city on PPP ticket while Parveen Magsi was elected member of Balochistan Assembly on women’s reserved seat on the ticket of PML-Q.Election Commission sources told TheNation that the graduation degrees which were submitted by both members during the last elections were allegedly fake. Upon this, they said EC had filed two different references against them in Sessions Court Quetta.
