ISLAMABAD : Prominent economist Khawja Amjad Saeed has appreciated the measures taken by the present government for reducing energy shortage in the country. Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that Pakistan has no five-year plan at present and the Planning Commission is trying to make one. He said that Pakistan has set a short term plan for the next three years as it is necessary for taking loan from IMF and other sources. According to Khawja Saeed, the taxable citizens should realize their responsibility and should pay their taxes so that enough money is available to the government for taking new initiatives.
