LAHORE - Due to the continuous patronage and support of the Punjab government, the Punjab Education Foundation is playing a leading role in achieving the targets of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by promoting school education and enabling every child to go to school without any fear of expenditures.

PEF Managing Director Dr Aneela Salman stated this while addressing the prize distribution ceremony at a local hall on Friday. The function was organised by PEF to award consolation certificates to position holder students of PEF partner schools from the districts of Sargodha, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Gujrat and Khushab.

The MD said that PEF students, by taking top positions in the matric 2014 exams, had proved that they had great potential and could excel in life if provided the opportunities of quality education. She maintained that education is the key to success in the 21st century of competition and only those nations will survive and lead the world who will arrange best education for their children.
