Bridal couture extravaganza hits Lahore

Lights, camera, action and then the business of fashion were on the roll. The 11th edition of Bridal Couture Week 2015 by Hum Sitaray began with pomp and show from the fashion forward crowd on the red carpet and showcase of glittering collections on the runway.
The three-day event is showcasing the top designers of Pakistan. Telenor Bridal Couture Week keeping up its tradition to bring glamour and drama on the ramp also featured dramatic Telenor Light performance pushing the envelope by showcasing dance combined with innovative technology. Telenor Bridal Couture week is one of the highest profile fashion events in Pakistan and one of the biggest most sought after bridal fashion platforms in South Asia. It has become the most aspired destination for Pakistan’s top bridal wear designers, couture lovers, celebrities, socialites and film stars. The first Day of TBCW featured fashion presentations by HSY, Aisha Imran, Shazia Kiyani, Zarmisha Dar, Nickie Nina, Zaheer Abbas, Sarah Rohale Asghar and HoneyWaqar. The stunning actress Fizza Ali walked the ramp for designer Shazia Kiyani, sultry Iffat Omer was the showstopper for Sara Rohail Ashghar, Adnan Siddiqui and the gorgeous Mira Sethi strutted down the runaway for Honey Waqar’s beautiful finale presentation. Hair and makeup and styling for all the day is being done by acclaimed NPRO and N-GENTS. Choreography and event direction for all the day is being handled by Hassan Shehryar Yasin, PR of the event is being handled by Take-II.
Speaking about Telenor BCW, Sultana Siddiqui , President of Hum network said “It has been Hum Network’s mission to highlight the talent that this country boasts both on national and international platforms. “This platform provides an opportunity to young aspiring fashion designers to stand stable alongside the fashion gurus and learn from them,” she said. She hoped that this edition of TBCW would be much bigger and better in terms of production, exposure and reach.
