Islamabad - Izzat Jahan Aqdus, Additional Registrar (Administration) Supreme Court of Pakistan, has vigorously advocated education and training programmes that enable nazirs/ budget and accounts examiners to better manage fiscal matters and help deliver faster services at the level of district court.

She expressed these views in the certificate awarding at the conclusion of a one-week training course on “How to be an Effective Nazir/ Budget and Accounts Examiner” at the Federal Judicial Academy yesterday. 

Highlighting the role and importance of information technology in the capacity building and the promotion of professionalism, she said, “Information Technology contributes a lot to build capacity and promote professionalism. You people must explore through Google different online courses to build your capacity training and enrich your education and sharpen skills. Always add some value to your own person and profession to become valuable in your professional field. Always maximize your knowledge and wisdom to earn respect and recognition.”                

Presenting his welcome speech and an overview of the course, DG FJA Fakhar Hayat said, “The Academy is committed to impart quality training to all stakeholders of the justice system and this weeklong course for nazirs/ budget and accounts examiners was designed with that goal. Whatever you have gained from this training, you must have to apply and share it with others to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.” 

In the end, twenty-two course participants were awarded certificates in the ceremony.
