Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar has completed his homework regarding extension of Rangers authorities in Karachi, Waqt News reported. “The federal government has consulted legal experts and has discussed the possible options,” media reported.

According to official sources Interior Ministry is considering to extend the Rangers authorities' stay in Karachi under Article 245 of the Constitution. “The option of implementing Governor rule in Sindh is also under consideration,” sources revealed.

“All the options will be presented in front of PM after his return to country,” sources added.

Meanwhile, Opposition leader Khurshid Shah has stated that targeting only one province is not right. “Even if Chaudhary Nisar himself remains in custody of Rangers, he can be made to say anything,” he said.

“There is terrorism in Punjab as well. Has it ended there?” he asked. “Ishaq Dar has also accepted Money Laundering allegation, but he is roaming freely,” he exclaimed.
