Accountability court Saturday reserved its verdict on plea of acquittal of the former chairman Pakistan Steel Usman Farooqui in corruption reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau, a private TV reported. Usman Farooqui facing charges of alleged irregularities and misuse of powers as chairman Steel Mills. While arguing in the court Usman Farooquis lawyer Raza Hashmi said, the misappropriation charges against his client were ill- motivated as Usman Farooqui has nothing to do with corruption. Its worth mentioning here that a corruption reference against Principal Secretary of the President and elder brother of Usman, Salman Farooqui also being under hearing in the same court.
