The heart patients previously using medicine provided free from the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) have increased hope of complete recovery since no death has been reported from any hospital in the City on Sunday. So far 147 heart patients have lost their lives due to reaction of PIC drugs. Over 100 patients are still under treatment at various public sector and private hospitals.
They are given folinic acid injections to overcome the complications caused by use of PIC medicine.
