At least four coalminers received burn injuries after an explosion at a mine in Chamalang coalmine field, on Tuesday. Sources said some miners were busy in extracting coal from a mine in Chamalang when the blast occurred owing to accumulation of toxic gas inside and lack of proper ventilation system. Resultantly, four people received burn injuries who were immediately retrieved from the mine and shifted to hospital in Loralai. They were identified as Sarwar, Muhammad Umar, Muhammad Saleem and Samiullah.
Hospital sources said the injured were being provided medical treatment and condition of the injured was out of danger.
