Azerbaijan, Pakistan sign military cooperation agreement

Baku- Pakistan and Azerbaijan have signed bilateral military cooperation agreement 2014, says Azerbaijani Defence Ministry’s press service.
The 5th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Working Group on Military Cooperation was held in Islamabad.
Pakistani delegation was led by Major General Muhammad Rashid, director general of Foreign Military Cooperation at Pakistan army and Azerbaijani delegation by head of the International Military Cooperation Department under the Defense Ministry, Major General Ramiz Najafov.
Military cooperation between the two countries, implementation of the decisions made at the 4th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Working Group on Military Cooperation and prospective fields of cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
At the same time, military-political situation and security issues in the region were discussed. It was especially underlined that mutual support against threats will be continued.
