QUETTA - Police recovered two bullet-riddled bodies dumped near Rind Gahr area, in the outskirts of Quetta on Wednesday.
Unidentified armed men shot dead two persons and throw away their bodies in a desolated area near Rind Gahr.
Local people spotted the bodies and informed police. A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital Quetta for medico-legal formalities.
Police said that the victims appeared to be between 30 to 40 years of age, and they were shot multiple bullets in head and chest. He said that identity of the bodies is yet to be established as their faces were disfigured, adding that investigations were underway. Later, the bodies were shifted to morgue for identification.
Recovery of bullet-riddles bodies from different parts of Balochistan has become a routine matter as more than 15 bodies were recovered from mass graves in Tutak area in Khuzdar district last month.
Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organisation striving for safe recovery of missing persons in the province, claims that more than 700 bodies of missing persons have been recovered from different parts of Balochistan since July 2010.
