Minister rules out Daesh presence

LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said there is no existence of Daesh in the country and the reports published in this regard have been presented out of context.
There is no scope that Deash can get roots in the country and the news in this regard has no basis, the law minister said in a media interaction yesterday.
The minister replying a question on the alleged use of development funds of other sectors on Metro Bus Multan, negated that any re-appropriation of the funds has been done. He said the funds allocated for the development of South Punjab would strictly be used on the people of that part and they have not been diverted to any other sector.
The minister also rubbished the allegation as baseless the Metro Bus is costing Rs70billion contrary to the government announced Rs30billion. This is sheer propaganda unleashed to earn cheap political popularity, he added.
