Hamza briefs British diplomat

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and Member of the National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz has said the present government has completed record development in important sectors, especially education, health and energy sectors, and mega projects are now serving the masses. He was talking to Political Counselor of British High Commission William Middleton who called on him here at PML-N Secretariat in Model Town. Hamza said that common man was satisfied with the performance of the PML-N government. He said that general elections of 2018 should be held on time to defeat the conspiracies. He said that Pakistan was facing a number of internal and external challenges and the war against terrorism had done a huge damage. He said the Pakistan Army was rendering sacrifices in this war. Hamza said that political leadership would steer the country out of crises and give people a prosperous and strong Pakistan. He exchanged views on bilateral issues and welcomed Middleton to Lahore. He informed him about the historical and political situation in the city. Middleton said that bilateral ties between the two countries were getting stronger day by day. He said that different projects were being launched in Pakistan with the cooperation of United Kingdom. –Press Release

LPC body greets PUJ office bearers

Lahore Press Club President Azam Chaudhry Senior Vice President Mujtaba Bajwa, Vice President Shakeel Saeed, Secretary Abdul Majid Saijd, Joint Secretary Salik Nawaz, Treasurer Ahsa n Shaukat and members governing body congratulated newly elected president of Punjab Union of Journalists Shehzad Hussain Butt, Senior Vice President Irfan Ihsan, vice presidents Amir Suhail and Mian Shahid Nadim, Ashraf Majid General Secretary, joint secretaries, Hafiz Adnan Tariq, Zaheer Sumra and Tahir Chaudhry, Noor Hassan Rana Finance Secretary and members of the PUJ executive committee, Farooq Chaudhry, Khurran Abbas, Ruba Arooj, Maryam Lodhi, Fatima Mukhtar, Usman Nadim, Nadim Haider, Asif Jat, Jehahngir nHayat, Usman Yousuf Kasuri, Abdullah Shahid, Imran Jalil and Shahid Akram.
