While talking to media outside Accountability Court ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated that yesterday people of Lodhran gave befitted reply of false cases against me.

He reached along his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain Safdar in corruption cases filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

"People of Pakistan are fighting my case and this clearly showed in yesterday's by-election results," he said.

While talking about supplementary references against him and his family, Nawaz said that there is nothing in original references hence these references are being submitted.

"These all are old ones and being filed in re-packaged form," he said.

Talking about ex-military dictator General Musharraf, Nawaz Sharif said that he is not afraid of 'accountability' against him but courts should go after the dictator who imposed martial law, facing treason case and arrested judges.

"I am not afraid of this victimisation on name of accountability and I am facing the courts unlike Musharraf," he said.

Nawaz however dodged the question about PML-N leader Chaudhary Nisar who targeted Maryam Nawaz and Pervaiz Rasheed in his recent press conference.

Earlier, the hearing against Sharif family was adjourned due to lawyers' strike. The next hearing will be conducted on February 15.
