LAHORE Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Justice Lahore High Court Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry and Governor-designate Sardar Latif Khan Khosa and a large number of people hailing from different walks life offered Namaz-e-Janaza of the parents of Supreme Court Justice Javed Iqbal on Wednesday. Both the octogenarian parents of Justice Iqbal were mysteriously stifled to death at their Cavalry Ground residence on Tuesday. After Namaz-e-Janaza, offered outside the Masjid of Askari phase V, both the deceased, former DIG Balochistan Abdul Hameed and his spouse Zarina Hameed, were laid to rest at Ghalib Market Graveyard. Quran Khwani for the late parents of Justice Javed Iqbal would be held after Zohar prayers and dua at 3:30pm at the Ground outside 111-D- Phase V, Askari villas, today (Thursday).
