LAHORE - Professor Senator Sajid Mir, chief of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith, while hinting at the possibility of revival of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) in the backdrop of current political scenario said the nation would be a given a good news in this regard soon. He expressed these views while talking to the media at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Wednesday on his arrival from Saudi Arabia after completing his one month visit. Professor Sajid while praising Maulana FAzlur Rehman for leaving the coalition government said it a wise move and it would help in reviving the MMA. Professor Sajid said, calling blasphemy law as black law itself falls in the preview of blasphemy and slain Salmaan Taseer challenged the Muslim world by uttering unsuitable remarks against the blasphemy laws. He strongly condemned the demand of Pope Benedict for repealing the blasphemy laws. He demanded of the govt to take a strong stance against the demand of Pope regarding the Islamic Laws. To a query, he remarked the ten-point agenda of PML-N could provide a solid foundation for making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state.
