LAHORE (PR) – Editor Monthly ‘Phool’ and president Pakistan Children Magazine Society, Shoaib Mirza has been appointed as ‘Book Ambassador’ by the National Book Foundation, an institution established under the authority of Cabinet Division Govt of Pakistan here on Thursday.

Shoaib has been awarded with this honour for the recognition of his efforts rendered for literary services and for the promotion of studies. The appointment letter of ‘Book Ambassador’ was given to him by famous writer and MD National Book Foundation, Mazaharul Islam in Islamabad.

Earlier, the personality whom this award had been given were Iftikhar Arif, Mansha Yaad, Mustansar Hussain Tarrar, Shabnam Shakeel, Ahmad Aqeel Ruby, Parveen Qadir Agha, Senator Maula Bux Chandio, MNA Rubina Qaim Khakwani, Reema Khan, Bushra Ansari, Farrah Hussain and many others.

Shoaib Mirza as writer and Editor had received rewards and awards from National Book Foundation, Dawat Academy, International Islamic University, Unicef, from Governor Punjab and from many institutions.

Recently, he had also been awarded with gold medal from the Farogh-i-Taleem Pakistan for the recognition of his efforts for the promotion of education.
