LAHORE – Punjab University has produced eight PhD scholars in the fields of Special Education, Molecular Biology, Education, Library & Information Science, Islamic Studies and Biological Sciences (Biochemistry).

As per detail, PU awarded PhD degrees to Saadia Iqbal D/o Malik Iqbal Khan Awan in the subject of Special Education after approval of her research thesis entitled “The Effect of Video Instructions on Socialisation of Students with Mental Retardation,” Muhammad Asif Naeem S/o Naeem Ahmad in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his research thesis entitled “Characterisation of a Locus Involved in Autosomal Recessive Hereditary Retinopathy,” Nighat Sana Kirmani D/o Sana Ullah Khan Kirmani in the subject of Education after approval of her research thesis entitled “Assessing the Effectiveness of Curriculum Package Based on 5E Instructional Model in Improving Levels of Cognitive Outcomes, Enhancing Scientific Reasoning and Developing Science Related Attitudes,” Muhammad Rafiq S/o Muhammad Saddique in the subject of Library & Information Science after approval of his research thesis entitled “Prospects of Digitization in University Libraries of Pakistan,” Zahid Latif S/o Abdul Latif in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his research thesis entitled “Concept of the Day of Judgment in Abrahamic Religions and Modern Scientific Revelations, Comparative and Research Study,” Farrukh Jamil S/o Muhammad Jamil in the subject of Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) after approval of his research thesis entitled “Mechanistic and Stereochemical Studies on 2-Amino-3-Ketobutyrate CoA Ligase and Related Enzymes,” Abdul Qayyum Ch S/o Ch Muhammad Yaseen in the subject of Education after approval of his research thesis entitled “Relationship Between Occupational Stress and Job Satisfaction in Public and Private Sector University Teachers,” Habib ur Rehman S/o Abdul Qayyum in the subject of Islamic Studies.
