Attorney General of Pakistan  Maulvi Anwarul Hq has said that the six options in the NRO judgment have been given to the Supreme Court and not to the government and he would request the apex court that none of these be considered.
The attorney general said this at the Supreme Court premises on Friday after contempt of court hearing against Babar Awan and meeting with Manzoor Ijaz's counsel Akram Sheikh.
The attorney general said that a joint application would be submitted in the court for adjournment of hearing in the Memogate case because both the important cases i.e. Memo Commission and NRO Implementation would be heard on 16th January.
It may be recalled that the attorney general in a letter to the chief justice had drawn his attention that the two cases were scheduled for 16th January. Sources said Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry resounded that both the cases were important, and he should himself decide which one he should attend.
